had an office gathering at swensens today after work. a gathering to celebrate frankey's farewell. the turnout had 21 peeps! largest unofficial gathering ever. from the resigned peeps, to the current peeps, to the very new just arrived colleagues!
i had fun today, but perhaps it was cus i know all the people. those who left were the closest to me..(sigh) and those new colleagues who just came, well, i get along quite well with them too. i felt a sense of satisfaction seeing so many people turning up for it, esp when i partially organized it. =p
a pity my boy had headache, cus many asked where is my other half, and of cus he cant come cus of work and family too..

met up with roomie and her bf today for dinner at city area. it is truly weird going on double dates when the guys dunno each other. we're 2 odd couples. 2 guys with major height and size differences. well at least the initial weird part is over. maybe next time when its not just dinner, it will be better. :)
i'm glad my boy could make it for dinner today, else i would have felt even weirder facing roomie and her bf. heh.

my ex boring sunday.
woke up early to pee cus drank too much water last night. then mum sensing i was awake, jioed me to go for bah kut teh with them. havent had breakfast on sundays for a long time now. heheheh.
came back read my mag preparing to lead my used-to-be sunday lifestyle and waiting for csi to begin.. and i fell asleep!
woke up with a bloody painful neckache and headache. dunno whats wrong still. thought it was due to my working too long hours staring at the pc 2 weeks back. but now it still comes back!
talked to bro a lil jus now while we caught bits of poseidon on dvd. like good old days.
was starting to get disappointed cus the boy couldnt get off work on time as planned. but just as i was starting on this entry, he called and yaY! we can go for dinner! so here i go.. dinner time..
my boring but fulfilling sunday. :p

on my way home, i sat beside an old malay uncle looking at his handphone pics. his handphone is those new kind that can scroll through photographs (hipper than mine) , and there he was, admiring photos of him and his family. it felt kinda heart warming to see him thinking of his family at that instant.
i too thought about my grandparents. i havent thought about them for a long time..
