made my first chilled oreo cheesecake yesterday!
my boy took a look at this pic and he thought it was the base. THIS IS THE TOP layer! haha faintz.
i was surprised that it turned out to be such a thin layer, but then it was good that its thin, cus otherwise it would be too cheesy.

finally managed to catch Hors De Prix over the weekend.. it was really quite a romantic comedy! one of the best french films i've caught since i started falling in love with the french. heh. it was a laugh out loud moviee. even my boy, the non-french enthusiast, also found it the best out of the 3 he was "forced" to watch. hehh.
bought a hell lot of things too. in my opinion of course. an office bag for the boy, moisturizer, a skirt and 2 tops for meme, vitamins for the family and a damage of about 200. heh. more to come this weekend.. yahooo!
now im hopin to find this movie which i missed out on! something irritating abt french movies is that they only show it for 2 weeks, and either totally stop showing or show it at ridiculous timings like 3.15pm or 9.30pm! argh.

i suddenly remembered i missed one episode of desp housewives! :(
ok this week has been a hectic week.. with my feet being bitten by sandflies while i was at ecp for less than 15 MINUTEs.. horrible horrible 2 days i say. my feet were like twitching and i so desperately wanted to reach down and scratch scratch scratch!! and so i've disgustingly posted a shot of my 11 bites infested swollen right foot. :p
and then i spent more money again today. bought a skirt and some undies and a mac blusher and a polo. AND.. the dress i bought last week on 8% rebate, was selling at 27% off today!! tmmdd.. but well, i wouldnt have known right.. sigh. thank gawd its pay day soon. pocket's got a big hole. :(

trotted back to school early tis morning jus to play netball with the fb babes. 10.30 - 1pm. 1pm sun!!! gosh, we must be crazy. anyways it was quite fun hanging out with them once in a blue moon. i miss my bitching and laughing-at-anything girly days.
rushed home to change out and clean up and rushed to town for my hair colouring appt. the colour turned out ok, not as bright as before thankfully, but also not very visible. still thinking if i should go do something to my hair on the day of the wedding but well its another 50 bucks and ive already spent alot on the event, and i haven't got my nice pretty black heels yet. tsk.. ~$$~

went for a jog today after work. the stadium finally reopened! hurray! nice red jogging tracks, luscious green grass.. stomped on by soccer boys :/
bought bread for the family for breakie tmr morn. bought my own dinner. while on the bus home, suddenly had tis impulsive tot of wanting to work overseas again. live life on my own out there for 1-2 years, being independent and all. sigh. how to when i just changed my job and with a local GLC? sigh.

end of my 4th week at work. im kinda battered at work, not knowing any of the languages before i go into this project. although in the first place, i wasnt even hired for this project. im only helping out while waiting for my clearance to the other place to be cleared.
attending the elixir report training was fun. trying to use it to fulfill one of the user requirements is difficult. saying i want a part in a development project is easier, getting down to doing it is hard ass difficult. designing the gui has gotta be the easiest thing ive done this week, although it was a rough demo using powerpoint. *faintz* my project mates and boss speak alien, i understand not a single word. if they could see my thoughts, i'd be walking around with a question mark sign all over my head all day. hai. i hope it gets better.
lynn's wedding is nearing. starting to get a lil kan chiong for that. me and kev gonna be the english/chinese mc for the wedding dinner. bought a white dress from far east today for the morning event since the colour theme was white. still looking out for another nice black one. saw a white shirtdress at esprit after i bought the first white one. this one looks damn nice and decent. but its a whopping 130 bucks. doesnt sound ex but kinda tight tis month. tsktsk. hopefully the dress is included in the gss! come gss come!!
