christmas eve was an ok one. it wasn't even hectic. i even had time to had lunch with my boy at ny ny and went home for a nap before going out to meet friends for dinner.
dinner was at some blooie place at bukit timah area. the decor of the restaurant is alot like hogs' bre*athe, but the food at the latter is much nicer.
tomorrow's gonna be another long day of food and pressies. :)

went to sent*osa yesterday with my boy and muffin and ll. it was an impromptu thing as we had just out of nowhere asked them for dinner the previous night. went for it since we had no concrete plans in sight for our day off.
even though i was an islander member last year, i had never gone for the island's attractions before, only to the beach to bake myself. hehh. other than the luge ride that we went, the rest were all very touristy and expensive. so we ended up just spending 3 hours there, roaming around on the trams, checking out cafe de*l mar which was having a private party at that time.
it wasn't too bad hanging out with old friends once in a while. :)

had our yearly christmas gathering at brewerkz and tcc @ clarke quay, bad memories place. hahah.

end of my first week at the new project site.
colleagues are alright. a tad quiet though. maybe im just used to the noisy environment in my other project. got a little bored yesterday reading notes and found that m-one overcharged my bill by extra 25 bucks when i was in krabi cus my phone was connecting to gprs throughout the 5 days. it was weird cus i have no clue on how to use gprs, so how could i have enabled it? anyway the female operator sounded quite nice so i was having a pleasant time talking to her since i have nobody to slack with in office. hehhh.
today mask came down to my site to do some deployment for one of the modules which i was handling. went to the dc with him and it was freeeeeezzing cold and i didn't bring my 2 warmy jackets with me. we were freezing in there for 2 hours man. coincidentally, we saw muffin at the dc doing a project too. haha.. it was good working with him around cus i finally have someone to talk rubbish with!
later on went to fe plaza with my boy to look for a more comfy pair of shoes. saw 2 of my fb girls there but they didnt see me. i didnt want to go through that "hey how are you ya da ya da..." so i didnt call them. sigh. i hope i wont always be like that..?

some bitch just couped my handphone which i hung behind the toilet door. went back barely less than 2 minutes later and its gone. fucking shit. and i wasn't even drunk!

today marks the last day of my stint in the chix wings project for the past 7 months.
after handing over my stuff to wt, it does seem like i have done quite a fair bit of work in the short time compared to when i was in my previous job. the amount of stuff to hand over is never ending! thank gawd wt is a smart conscientious girl, makes my work a whole lot easier.
starting work at the new project next week. shouldn't have too much of overtime when im there but i guess i'd have to be prepared for last minute calls, 24/7 support. have absolutely no idea about how long i'd be bonded to the company after going for the course in mid dec. sigh, a new environment equals new effort to be on good terms with colleagues, equals more effort to pump in to gain trust of new boss, and less chit chatting.
kind of miss the colleagues that i have slogged with. working till mornin and rushing home so that the incoming people wont smell how smelly we were. having cup noodles every twice or thrice a week for dinner. having scheduled ot days so that we will have partners to stay late with. bitching about work. gossiping about irritating colleagues. chionging for sales. i miss them! :(
