my edited version of the previous post after several cs guys gave some tips on pp-ing the shot.. didn't want to overdo the pp and this is the best contrast i thought it had without altering the true colour we saw..

winter wonderland in mid of march? are you kidding me?? we were both freezing our asses off. literally. but we still ventured out more than others who had 3 layers of thick jackets and boots. me, i had 3 thin long sleeves and a turtle neck and boots. the boy, errm, 3 thin long sleeves, 1 polo tee and track shoes. so not apt for winterland. oh, i forgot to credit our trusty hand warmers which we bought from daiso for 2 bucks for a pack of 8. they were life savers.. until the boy's shoes got soaked in snow, and i forced him to stuff those hand warmers in his shoes. well, better than him getting frost bite eh?

the amazing yosemite falls which isnt complete without the sound of the falls. i can still imagine the crashing of the falls. we are quite lucky we saw a few falls in yosemite this visit, but also unlucky because we didnt get to see the el capitan and the half dome due to poor visibility :(

we saw a couple and their husky while getting lost in yosemite park. so handsome!

now, we were carrying our brolly to protect our cam, cus once the snow flew into the lens, it was impossible to take any good shot! this park ranger that we overheard, he was commenting to his followers, why on earth are they using umbrellas? i think he must think us asians are funny. there were other japanese tourists around u see. lol.

on the way back, the snow got so heavy that our vehicle had snow chains on almost till we were on ground level. saw a few mud slides and mini rock slides too. the fast filling streams were a worry to the entire bus of people but all hoped we would get out of there safely.

i cant wait but to share this out once ive resized. these 2 shots aint photoshopped at all. love this!
although it seemed silly to others we waited more than a year for our honeymoon, but its all totally worth it. the freewill to spend as much as our budget allows us to, the rekindling of that newly-wedded feeling, that there was no one else to rely on except each other in a totally new and slightly dangerous land, the lovey-dovey-ness feel that still continues even after we've come back to reality. Just going through and editing the photos, even looking at my bookmarks in office that i kept while preparing for the trip brings a BIG smile to my face. =D
ooh, and i just realised that our trip started exactly a month ago, on my boy's birthday. :D

Waiting for our domestic flight out of Vegas and back to the city of angels now. It has been a good and wild time at Vegas. By wild, I meant we went on a shopping spree! Nothing back home can be considered as a spree after the past 3 days. My 2 years of saving up from shopping and makeup has been splurged in these 3 days. Muahahahaha.. It's not like dirt cheap but at least the very branded stuffs are now more affordable to us here. It's amazing how much stuff the boy and I bought for our families and even his extended family! Haha.
The lights in Vegas were very neony and so many different kinds of people! People with catheters, on wheelchairs.. Dresscode by day is sleeveless tanks and shorts and flip flops, and by night they all transformed into tight slinky dresses with sky high heels. The boy and I had to contend with 1 berms and 1 skirt everywhere. Oh and I wore sports shoes and slippers to the musicals. How unglam.
Oh and we caught 3 musicals O, Beatles Love by Cirque and Phantom which were all so awesome Cus the theatres were solely for that particular musical only, hence the magnitude of the decor.
